Omnichannel Selling: Ordafy Shop, POS & Pay Links
Sell across Ordafy Shop, in-store POS, and Pay links from one catalogue—so UK customers can discover, pay in person, or settle remotely without duplicate stock.
Omnichannel means one catalogue, many ways to pay
Ordafy is built for local product and service businesses that sell online and in person. Omnichannel here is not a hybrid conference. It is the same inventory and pricing surfaced on Ordafy Shop, the till, and payment links—so customers meet you where they are.
Split the surfaces honestly
- Ordafy Shop — discovery, cart, and online checkout for products and bookable services.
- Ordafy POS — counter sales, till shifts, and Tap to Pay on supported devices.
- Ordafy Pay — payment links when someone is not at the till or ready to checkout on Shop.
- Ordafy Business — catalogue, orders, bookings, team, marketing, financials, and payouts.
Keep stock and services in one place
Manage products under Products and Inventory, and services under Services. When POS and Shop share the same catalogue, you avoid overselling and mismatched prices.
Match the channel to the moment
Use Shop for browse-and-buy. Use POS when the customer is in front of you. Send a Pay link when you quote by phone, WhatsApp, or after a visit. Do not force every sale through the wrong surface.
Fees differ by channel—say so clearly
Card processing applies on successful payments. Sales that originate on Ordafy Shop can also include marketplace commission. Pay links and POS do not add that Shop commission the same way. Point buyers to Pricing and keep your own quotes transparent.
Ops after the sale
Fulfil product orders in Orders, manage appointments in Bookings, and reconcile money in Financials and Payouts. Omnichannel only works if the back office stays consistent.
Measure each channel separately
In Analytics and Reports, compare Shop, POS, and Pay performance. Double down on the channel that converts for your category—retail, beauty, repairs, food, or professional services.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need separate catalogues for Shop and POS?
No. Maintain one product and service catalogue in Business and sell it across surfaces so stock and pricing stay aligned.
When should I use a Pay link instead of Shop?
When the customer already agreed a price offline, or you need a quick card payment without a full browse-and-cart journey. See Ordafy Pay payment links.
Is this the same as hybrid events?
No. Ordafy is for marketplace commerce and local business operations—not event ticketing or venue check-in.
