When you become a provider on Ordafy, you create an organisation and become its OWNER. From Team, invite people with roles that match real jobs—not invented project-management tools.

Roles you can use

• OWNER — full control of the organisation, billing-sensitive areas, and membership.
• ADMIN — broad operational control for day-to-day running of the business.
• MEMBER — standard collaborator access for catalogue and ops work as permitted.
• VIEWER — read-oriented access when someone needs visibility without edits.
• SALES — suited to till and customer-facing selling workflows.
• FINANCE — suited to Financials, payouts visibility, and money-sensitive tasks.

Map roles to jobs

Counter staff often need SALES for POS. A bookkeeper may need FINANCE. A marketing contractor might only need MEMBER on Marketing and listings—not Payouts.

Invite and review from Team

Open Team (/team), invite by email, set the role, and remove access when someone leaves. Pending invites should not linger indefinitely.

Least privilege keeps you faster

Sharing one OWNER login is the common failure mode. Separate accounts mean you can revoke access without rotating every password and payment setting.

Multi-location nuance

Business Groups can add group-level ownership patterns across organisations. Keep location staff scoped to the organisation they work in unless they truly need group oversight.

Can SALES staff change payout bank details?

Keep payout and Stripe Connect work with OWNER, ADMIN, or FINANCE as appropriate. Till staff should not need bank-change permissions.
