Troubleshooting Guide: Common Ordafy Issues and Fixes

Fix common Ordafy Business and Shop issues: listings not visible, checkout failures, POS card problems, promos, and payout gates.

How to troubleshoot quickly

Confirm organisation, permissions, and whether the problem is catalogue, payments, or a single order. Most “platform is down” reports are local configuration.

Listings missing on Shop

  • Product/service published (not draft)
  • Correct organisation
  • Payout onboarding complete when marketplace/card rules require it
  • Hard refresh / try incognito to rule out cache

Checkout or card failures

  • Customer retry with another card
  • Business: open Payout and confirm account is verified
  • Check order/booking for failed payment state
  • Review Pricing / plan limits if a feature is gated

POS till cannot charge

  • User has POS permission under Team
  • Device supports your card path / Tap to Pay requirements
  • Connect payouts finished
  • Stable network

Promo code rejected

In Marketing, verify code spelling, dates, usage caps, and applicable products/services. Instant codes may be single-use only.

Orders not appearing

Widen filters on /products/orders, confirm the sale completed (not abandoned cart), and check you are not looking at Bookings by mistake.

Team access problems

Admins adjust roles under Team. Users should never share passwords.

Still stuck

Open Support (/support) with organisation name, approximate time, order/booking id, and screenshots of errors.

Frequently asked questions

Cash works but cards do not

Almost always payout onboarding or verification pending—see Stripe Connect.

Customer paid twice

Locate both payments in Orders/Financials; refund the duplicate carefully after confirming settlement.

Wrong stock after POS sale

Recheck Inventory movements and whether the variant sold matches the SKU you adjusted.
