Live Ops: Managing Orders and Bookings in Real Time

Run live Ordafy operations: monitor Orders and Bookings status, Calendar, till peaks, and customer issues as the day unfolds.

Live ops mindset

Once you are trading, the job shifts from catalogue setup to status control: what is paid, what is waiting, what is overdue, and who needs a reply. Work from Orders, Bookings, Calendar, and POS—not from a separate “live event console”.

Step 1: Morning sweep

  1. Open Calendar (/calendar) for the day’s shape.
  2. Check Orders (/products/orders) for paid items to pack/dispatch.
  3. Check Bookings (/services/bookings) for appointments to confirm or complete.
  4. Glance at Inventory for stockouts that would break today’s promises.

Step 2: Keep status truthful

Update fulfilment and booking statuses as work happens. Customers and teammates should not need a side chat to learn whether an order shipped or a slot was honoured.

Step 3: Counter peaks

During rushes, run sales from POS (/pos/dashboard/till). Pause non-urgent Marketing sends; focus on till accuracy and payment confirmation.

Step 4: Exceptions

  • Refunds / partials from the order record
  • Reschedules via booking tools and Availability
  • Payment chase via Payment Links when appropriate
  • Escalations through Support (/support)

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a special “live mode”?

No. Live ops is disciplined use of Orders, Bookings, Calendar, and POS with current statuses.

What if Shop and till disagree?

Confirm organisation context, refresh, and verify the sale completed. Check Financials/Payouts if payment state is unclear.

Where do internal handovers go?

Use Notes (/notes) so context survives shift changes.

Stay in control today

Pair this with day-of ops checklist, orders, and troubleshooting. Customers buy on Shop.
