Sales Process: Streamline Product and Service Sales

Design a simple Ordafy sales process across Shop, POS till, Payment Links, and Marketing without losing track of fulfilment.

One process, three channels

Most Ordafy businesses sell through Shop online, POS in person, and Payment Links for quotes. The process should feel the same: capture order → take payment → fulfil → follow up.

Step 1: Standardise the offer

Clear product/service pages, visible prices, and stock/slot truth. Publish only what you can deliver this week.

Step 2: Choose the channel

  • Browse & buy: Customer on Shop
  • Counter: Staff on /pos/dashboard/till
  • Invoice-style: /pay/dashboard payment links

Step 3: Close cleanly

Apply approved promos from Marketing, confirm totals, and take payment. Never promise a discount you have not created as a real code or instant discount.

Step 4: Hand to ops

Fulfilment owners work Orders / Bookings. Sales staff should not mark complete until the customer has what they paid for.

Step 5: Measure

Weekly review in Analytics: conversion anecdotes, average order value, promo usage, and till vs Shop mix. Adjust catalogue and staffing.

Frequently asked questions

Can I sell without Shop?

Yes—POS and Payment Links work—but Shop is how new customers discover you on the marketplace.

Services in the same process?

Yes at a high level, but availability and Bookings replace Inventory/Orders for appointments.

Where do scripts live?

Keep staff scripts in Notes or Vault; keep customer offers in Marketing.
