Marketing Tools: Promo Codes, Email Campaigns, and Sharing

Use Ordafy Marketing to create promo codes, send email campaigns, and share product or service links from Business.

Open Marketing

All campaign tools live under Marketing (/marketing) in Business. You can manage promo codes (including campaign codes and single-use instant discounts created from sales flows), draft email campaigns, and track share activity for your products and services.

Step 1: Create a promo code

  1. Open Marketing (/marketing).
  2. Go to the promo codes tab/section.
  3. Create a code with discount type (percentage or fixed), limits, expiry, and which products/services it applies to.
  4. Share the code with customers or partners; they enter it at Shop checkout, booking checkout, or on supported Business/POS payment screens.

Step 2: Instant vs campaign promos

Campaign codes are meant for reuse in marketing. Instant discounts (often labelled with an INSTANT- style code) are typically single-use adjustments created during a specific order, booking, till, or pay-link flow—filter Marketing carefully so you do not confuse the two.

Step 3: Email campaigns

  1. In Marketing, open email campaigns.
  2. Draft subject and body, select audience options available to your organisation, and save as draft.
  3. Schedule or send when ready; monitor sent vs draft status in the list.

Keep copy factual: stock, booking slots, and promo expiry must match what Shop will honour.

Step 4: Share listings

Use share actions on products/services (and Marketing social/share stats where shown) so every channel points to one Shop URL. Avoid parallel checkout pages outside Ordafy.

Frequently asked questions

Customer says the code failed

Check expiry, max uses, minimum spend, and whether the cart’s products/services are in scope. Confirm they are checking out with the correct organisation’s items.

Can I email people who never bought?

Only message contacts you are allowed to reach under UK GDPR/PECR. Prefer customers who already have a relationship with your organisation.

Does Marketing replace Notes?

No. Notes are internal. Marketing is customer-facing promotion.
